Felix Krull liebt die Frauen und die Frauen lieben ihn. Doch der charmante Jüngling aus vornehmem, wenngleich bankrottem Hause hat nicht nur auf Frauen eine unwiderstehliche Wirkung. Mit seinem schauspielerischen Talent wickelt er alle um den Finger. Seine erotischen Affären und seine pfiffige Hochstapelei katapultieren ihn bis in die höchsten gesellschaftlichen Ebenen und auf den Gipfel von Ruhm und Reichtum. Als falscher Marquis tritt er schließlich eine Weltreise an, die ihn allerdings ebenso schnell wieder nach unten befördert. Doch Felix Krull startet immer wieder zu neuen Abenteuern.
