Frau Hardy ist verärgert, dass ihr Mann Oliver mehr Zeit mit seinem Freund Stanley verbringt als mit ihr. Nach einem erbitterten Streit teilt Frau Hardy mit, dass sie Ollie verlässt wenn er wieder mit Stan ausgeht. Stan rät Ollie ein Kind zu adoptieren. Dieser muss nach seiner Rückkehr feststellen, dass seine Frau ihn verlassen hat, und ein Gerichtsdiener liefert ihm ein Papier, in dem erfährt, dass sie die Scheidung eingereicht hat. Die Jungs müssen sich jetzt allein um den Säugling kümmern.
