In einer Anstalt für psychisch kranker Straftäter wird wegen Mordes an einem jungen Mädchen eingeliefert. Sie weckt die Intresse des jungen Psychater Dr. Bennett. Dieser macht eine grausige Entdeckung. Junge Mädchen sollen nach einem Ritual getötet werden. In ihrem Blut zu Baden soll verjüngen. So steht es im Buch über einen Blutkult. Ariel Dubois entdeckt während ihrer Behandlung das nicht sie für die Morde verantwortlich ist sondern ihre Mutter. Sie flieht und kommt dem Blutkult auf die Spur.
