Un pèlerin stupide part à la chasse d'un dindon qui parle en imitant Jimmy Durante et dirige le marché noir local. Les gags sur la guerre et le rationnement abondent (les pèlerins font la queue derrière un panneau indiquant "Ye Cigarettes Today"), ainsi qu'un gag récurrent mettant en scène un ours portant un panneau de sandwich "Eat at Joe's". Le dindon exploite le pouvoir des gags pour se sauver.
