Michael Clancy
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Michael Clancy (c. 1949 – 2010) was Chief Secretary from 1997 to 2000, and later Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Saint Helena and its Dependencies (Ascension Island and Tristan da Cunha) from 2004 to 2007. He was married to Claire Clancy who, as of 2009, is the Chief Executive of the National Assembly of Wales. Michael Clancy died from cancer at the age of 60; his death was announced on February 25, 2010.
