Niestety, pewnego dnia wychodzą na jaw spore wady tego urządzenia. U Quinna pojawia się jego sobowtór, z kolejną wersją zegara. Okazuje się, że istnieje nieskończenie wiele światów równoległych, w których każdy ma swego sobowtóra. Mallory nie słyszy ostrzeżeń gościa i przestawia współrzędne w zegarze. Przypadkowo Quinn, jego współpracownicy i rhytm'n'bluesowy muzyk zostają przeniesieni w inny wymiar, z którego nie mogą powrócić.
