The Annual Strange Hill Festival is approaching. Not staying quiet about his dislike of folk music, Mitchell drives Miss Grackle mad - and perhaps to an early retirement - and the kids get a mysterious and oddly nice new music teacher who may have a much deeper connection to the ancient Spring Festival than anyone realized. It all leads to a furious musical duel between Mitchell and his friends and an ancient force of corny, irritating music.
