粗鲁又好管闲事的有钱商人卡斯特拉，为了要看他的侄女在舞台剧中的表演，而不甘愿地加入了剧团表演的工作。他在演员中发现了一张熟面孔，那是女主角克蕾拉。当卡斯特拉深深地迷恋上她时，才回忆起克蕾拉原来曾当过他的英语家教，卡斯特拉展开积极的追求，而克蕾拉却受不了他的烂品味与坏脾气，爱情就在两人的你追我跑之间，悄悄地溜进心坎里……
