Without a score before halftime, the Devil Bats have a slim chance of victory, so Hiruma decides to kick the field goal himself. The kick is close, but it hits the side pole and is no good. Using a strategy that relies on nothing more than Kurita's brute force, the Devil Bats get a touchdown, lessening the point gap.
