They decide to get married on the beach where they had their first date. Darcy informs Zac that Dave has left Echo Point, taking their truck with him, but paying out Zac's share. Frannie starts a petition, determined to save a tree from being cut down to make way for a car park. Darcy and Zac are surprised by Rita's sudden return after she walked out on them 12 years previously and are not prepared for her frank admission that she killed Edward and Sarah Blake after Edward ended their 4-year long affair. Her story triggers a memory for Zac who recalls being there and Rita drops one more bombshell — Edward Blake is Zac's father.
